When I bought my longarm the laser it came with was not very good. Instead of a pencil point laser dot it was about the size of a dime and sat on a metal spindle making it hard to position. I bought this product to replace it. I have been using it for almost 3 months and I have to say I almost cried the first time I used it. It was so much better. Pencil dot precise and positionable. I could be so much more accurate on my pantographs. I purchased a super long charging cable and leave it attached to the long arm with cable tied in to the machine's cables. (it does come with its own cable but it is short and you will need a wall plug)

Oh my …… words can’t express how happy I am with this product. I bought it for my mid arm and what a game changer it is. The laser doesn’t bounce around like my old one. It also keeps its charge, currently I’ve four quilts with a single charge, and it’s still going. I was lucky to get two out of my old laser before I had to but in new batteries. Also tried it on my domestic machine this past weekend for HST. No more drawing diagonal lines. It cut down my time drastically. I had 130 perfect HST in less than two hours. Would definitely highly recommend this laser for your quilting needs.
